The lubricating property is one of the main functions that the drilling fluid should have.
  During the 1980s, a kind of solid lubricant----the plastic mini-ball solid lubricant was invented abroad on the base of fluid lubricants. Resently a new-type solid lubricant has been invented by compounding natural minerals via fine processing. One product of American BAROID mud company that named steel seal for example is such a kind of new-type solid lubricant.
  Refering to the foreign documents, HY-202 is invented using our own national raw material. It is a new-type solid lubricant which is similar with the same type of products abroad. It has such functions as follows:
 1. Outstanding lubricating capacity and resiliency; can efficiently reduce frictional resistance and moment of torsion, prevent the drill string from sticking especially when encounter large area of hard contact points in direction well and cluster well drilling.                                                                                                                     2. Can avoid leak-off and strengthen the sidewall because of the special structure of the natural mineral.
 3. Non-fluorescent, atoxic and has no abrasive action.
 4. Be beneficial to improve the property of drilling fluid; has such effects as reduce viscosity and water loss, improve the quality of the mud cake.
 5. High temperature resistant (180).
 6. Recommended dosage:
 Ordinarily: 1~3%;  For sealing: 3~5%.
